Trisha’s Fab Father’s Day Card!

Hi fellow crafters, I hope you are well! I wanted to share with you all how to make this Father’s Day card using the Nature’s Texture stamps and stencils.  For this card I used the Nature's Textures Hexagon Layering Stamp & Stencil set.  I made this card using a 5”x7” Kraft card blank. Taking a white piece of card, I cut it slightly shorter than 5”x7” so I could mount it onto the Kraft card once I had stamped my design.  There are...

Trisha’s Elegant Nature’s Textures Postcard!

Hello fellow crafters,  I love the new Nature's Textures range, especially the beautiful Embellishment Pack! And the good news is, you can still buy the collection for an amazing price over at The Craft Store! As part of the Angela Poole Design Team, I made the card below and thought I would share some steps with you today of how to create it yourself.  Firstly, I started by cutting out the two birds on the small cream card found amongst the...

Zoe’s super stencil technique!

Hi everyone. I just love Angela's stencil designs, and have made this card using a clever embossing technique. Here's a short how-to so you can create a unique and striking 3D effect using your Folksy Charm collection! First, I created an 8 inch card base using one piece of A3 card. You could use two pieces of A4 card joined together if you prefer. I also cut a piece of coordinating card to 7.75 inches square to layer over the card...

Creativation 2020 – craft secrets revealed!

We're having a fantastic time at Creativation and it's so great to meet other crafters who love paper crafts as much as we do! I wanted to create some makes for our stand that were bright and bold to reflect how positive we feel about 2020. I went with a colour palette that scared me a little at first (I think we all tend to have favourite crafting colour combos that feel safe!). Well I was definitely out of that...

Irene’s Floral Home Decoration!

Hi everyone...a slightly belated Happy New Year to you all!    I don't know if you are the same as me when it comes to this time of year? Everywhere you look seems a little bit bare, now that the tree and decorations are packed away. Obviously the cold weather doesn't help either, so what better way to cheer myself up than by making a bright, floral piece of home decor using the Buds to Blooms Perfect Peonies photopolymer stamp set!...

Irene’s Christmas Keepsake!

Hi everyone! I thought I would make something a little bit different with my Beautiful Moments – Cold Days, Warm Hearts collection. We are due to have a new arrival of a baby girl in our family any time now...my cousin is about to give birth to her first child, so I thought why not make a picture celebrating her first Christmas? I have made this project on 12x12 mount board, so that afterwards it can be placed into a...

Fay’s simple Autumn stamping!

So...my first project for Angela Poole! Very exciting and a massive honour. I hope this card shows just how effective keeping things simple can be.     Firstly, I used the Magic Windows Slide & Reveal die set to cut out the main images from the Christmas Wonderland and Winter Days stamp sets. Both images were coloured using just two colours of brush pens.      I inked around the edges of the reindeer image with Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs, and once I had constructed...

Irene’s sparkling winter wishes card!

Hi everyone! Well it's that time of the year again, and like most of you I've been busy making my Christmas cards. I absolutely adore the Beautiful Moments – Cold Days, Warm Hearts stamp sets. They are beautiful to stamp with. As a crafter, I am always looking for further ways to utilise the stamps in my collection, which is why I thought I would share this card with you. Here I have used the Winter Days stamp collection. I have...

5-minute stamping challenge!

I love thinking of different ways to use craft products. Probably because I'm a thrifty crafter at heart!  I'm thoroughly enjoying using our two Beautiful Moments - Cold Days, Warm Hearts stamp sets and, if you managed to see our show on HOCHANDA, you'll see that I got a bit carried away making samples!  One of those samples was originally just an experiment, as I wanted to try stamping directly on to wood and I thought that brown ink would look nice ....
