Simple stamping onto fabric!

If you managed to watch our last show on HOCHANDA, you'd have seen a new technique I tried using our gorgeous stamps! I was so impressed with the stamping quality that I experimented with stamping onto cotton fabric and I was stunned by the results! This design features stamps from our Christmas Wonderland photopolymer stamp set. I considered whether I should use a fabric paint but I had a Stampin' Up! Rose Red ink pad in a drawer and I...

Fay’s simple Autumn stamping!

So...my first project for Angela Poole! Very exciting and a massive honour. I hope this card shows just how effective keeping things simple can be.     Firstly, I used the Magic Windows Slide & Reveal die set to cut out the main images from the Christmas Wonderland and Winter Days stamp sets. Both images were coloured using just two colours of brush pens.      I inked around the edges of the reindeer image with Distress Oxide Gathered Twigs, and once I had constructed...

Lisa’s extra-special gift!

Hello crafters! Today I wanted to share with you my idea of how to make a Christmas gift box with the extra-special detail of having the Magic Windows feature. I came up with this idea after making a few Christmas card designs using the Magic Windows Slide & Reveal die set and Beautiful Moments – Cold Days, Warm Hearts stamps. I wanted something extra-special to put my cards inside to give as a gift! What better than a lovely coordinating...

Seasonal scrapbooking with a twist!

I couldn't be more excited about the possibilities of using our Magic Windows Slide & Reveal die set to make incredible scrapbook layouts!! Press the 'play' button below to see one scene dissolve into another – it really is magical... I absolutely love the fact that Magic Windows have a hidden image or photograph that is only revealed when the tab slides! It's such a unique feature and I've not seen scrapbook pages that are interactive like this before.             Magic Windows make it...

Etched-glass-effect baubles!

These glass-effect baubles are absolutely stunning! I discovered the technique whilst experimenting with different stamping effects. I promise there's no etching involved, as they're made by simply stamping onto clear shrink plastic. The nostalgic scenes and festive motifs from the Beautiful Moments - Cold Days, Warm Hearts Christmas Wonderland and Winter Days stamp sets work so well with this technique - especially as the circular designs are perfect for making hanging baubles! We're proud that our stamp sets are made from high-quality photopolymer....

Magic Windows photo cards!

There's no getting around the fact that the Magic Windows Slide & Reveal Die set is an incredible craft tool! It enables you to make your own Magic Windows cards from stamped designs, patterned papers and even photo cards. There really is nothing else like it on the market. Knowing that I can use the die set to make personalised photo cards is really exciting! In the past I've spent a fortune online making personalised cards, but they're always generic and...

5-minute stamping challenge!

I love thinking of different ways to use craft products. Probably because I'm a thrifty crafter at heart!  I'm thoroughly enjoying using our two Beautiful Moments - Cold Days, Warm Hearts stamp sets and, if you managed to see our show on HOCHANDA, you'll see that I got a bit carried away making samples!  One of those samples was originally just an experiment, as I wanted to try stamping directly on to wood and I thought that brown ink would look nice ....

Simple stamping and lots of sparkle!

The great thing about stamps is how versatile they are - if you want to break out and do something different, you can! Creating a bold stamped card doesn’t need to be complicated and in fact, sometimes simple is better. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve had some bad stamping experiences over the years and most of the issues came from using cheap acrylic stamps and the wrong kind of inks. There are still times when I accidentally drop an...
